I am doing a project on this in my history class right now. It is specifically about the nurses. I found out that the had to work in harsh conditions and there were more injured people than nurses and medics so it was hard to treat everyone. It was also really hard to treat Mustard Gas wounds. And sometimes they had to sleep in the same room as patients and they were also killed when they tried to help people in the streets if they werent careful. Email me if you want to talk about this topic. |
